Welcome to CTEC Careers & Technology Education Council, a Specialist Council that is a part of the Alberta Teachers Association. Our mission is to empower educators, educate students, and engage the community in the fields of careers and technology education.


At CTEC, we envision a future where every student has access to high-quality careers and technology education, and every educator has the resources and support to deliver innovative and impactful learning experiences.

Current executive members of the CTEC are not eligible for nomination. Nominations shall be sent to the ATA Staff Advisor of the Career and Technology Education Council. Names of unsuccessful nominees may, after consultation with the nominator, be brought forward annually for re-nomination.
